First things, first.... Καλό Μήνα or Kalo mina!
Whenever I meet someone who wants to learn a word in Greek I like to teach them "kalo mina" ---- it literally means "good month" and we say it to each other in public and private settings to wish each other a month of good luck and joy :)
Today was kind of huge and I'm thrilled to share why!
A bunch of us decided we wanted to take our practice of slowing down to the next level by actually doing it s i m u l t a n e o u s l y. We have lovely peeps joining us from Texas, Alabama, Florida, DC, London, and Maryland andddd Boston.
So we hopped on what'sapp at 11 am for our first collective "tune in". Right before 11 we each shared our favorite emojis to notify our "meditation buddies" that we would be participating... and then our 5 minutes of "being" begun!
I've often meditated alone and I can tell you that this felt very different. My concentration felt fortified and frankly, I couldn't stop smiling :) We are here to support each other, and if we are too busy or too far to do it in the physical sense, we can always do it in the spiritual realm... which, trust me, is alive and kicking!
If you can find 5 minutes in your day and have been wanting to make peace with your mind... you are invited to join our virtual hangout and experiment!
